Butynol® is waterproof roofing membrane marketed by Ardex NZ. It is synthetic butyl rubber membrane which you can have installed on your roof without having to conform to the set structure required by tiles or steel. This is a perfect product if you’ve got a flat roof area or one that isn’t suited to using products like steel roofing. You can create a striking architectural statement by using Butynol® in the design of your home. Butynol® has properties which resist ageing caused by UV sunlight and heat making it ideal for the Auckland climate. An advantage of Butynol® is that it remains flexible even in extreme temperatures.
